Honoring Our Ancestors

An Intimate Ancestral Circle

As we enter Día de los Muertos, a sacred time in my Mexican culture for remembering and honoring those who came before us, I invite you to join me for an intimate evening dedicated to our Ancestors.

Día de los Muertos is a beautiful reminder that our relationship with our Ancestors does not end when they leave this physical world. We remember them, speak their names, prepare offerings, share stories, and create space for their presence.

You do not need to know your Ancestors by name or know your full family history to honor them. They walked before you, and their stories, love, strength, and wisdom continue through you.

Together, we will create a community ancestral altar. I ask that you bring a photograph of an Ancestor or loved one who has passed that you would like to honor, along with a small offering such as flowers or food to place on the altar.

During our time together, we will also talk about ancestral connection and how honoring our Ancestors does not have to feel complicated. There is no perfect way to connect. My intention is to help you find a practice that feels authentic and supportive to wherever you are on your journey.

I will open myself to channel messages for the group. When I channel, I allow myself to flow and trust Spirit and whoever wishes to come through. I cannot guarantee that a specific Ancestor or loved one will come forward. Come with an open mind, listen to your intuition, and trust that the message meant for you will find you.

We will close our circle with a guided meditation and sound bowl healing, allowing ourselves time to ground, receive, reflect, and connect.

Grief is something we learn to grow and live with. I know how deeply we can miss our Ancestors and loved ones who are no longer physically here. This circle is not about having all the answers. It is about creating space to remember, honor, feel, and connect.

No previous experience is needed. Give yourself permission to simply come as you are and flow with the evening.

What to Bring

Please bring:
